Kyle Peters Motorcycle Charity Run
Kyle Peters Motorcycle Charity Run Raises $10583 for the Society of Manitobans with Disabilities!
On Sat August 16 riders were greeted with beautiful weather as they rode off to begin there journey. The route went off as planned with stops in Stonewall, Minnedosa, Boissevain and winding up Saturday night in Morden at the Lake Minnewasta Campground. Riders were greeted with a BarBQ of Bison burgers, beans and refreshments. Tents were pitched up, the campfire started and the fun was on!
Sunday morning brought on another perfect day, the group rode off with stops in Morris, La Broquerie, Lac du Bonnet and then winding up in Stead at the Stead Steakhouse and Ranch. A great meal was enjoyed by all and then riders departed for home. The ride was a great time enjoyed by all and a nice way to unwind after months of fundraising. The original goal of $5000 was doubled due to efforts of all involved and the generous support of our business associates.
Have a look at the list of businesses that supported this great cause and consider supporting them if there services could be of use to you.
Thank you to everyone!

Info: Agri-Tel Transportation will be hosting a charity Motorcycle Run in honor of Kyle Peters who has been diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. Kyle's father Donny Peters has been a long time employee of Agri-Tel Transportation and we are going to turn the tables and give back to him for a change by raising funds for the charity of his choice, Donny has selected The Society of Manitobans with Disabilities.
Goal: To raise $5000.00 by having participating riders collecting pledges, by riders who wish not to collect pledges pay a flat fee to ride and by having a fundraising Bar B Q in Morden Saturday night at the campout.
Ride: 1000 km 2 day ride. Day 1 will be starting at Agri-Tel Transportation in Beausejour passing through Neepawa, Minnedosa, Boissevain, and ending for the day in Morden for an overnight campout with fundraising Bar B Q. Day 2 will be starting from Morden, location to be determined, passing through Morris, Steinbach, Hadashville, Whitemouth, Powerview and ending at the Stead Steakhouse and Ranch in Stead Mb.
Details: For riders who wish to pay a flat fee and not collect pledges, it will be set to $25.00. Riders who choose this route instead of raising donations can ride one or both days but the fee will remain at $25.00 for either the 2 day run or a single day.
We have 10 unserviced camp sites pre booked at Lake Minnewasta Rec Area in Morden Mb that can accommodate approx 30 riders. Once these sites are full of pre committed riders, participants will need to arrange there own accommodations at there own expense.
There is space available in the Agri-Tel Race trailer going to Morden, if any riders would like to drop off camping gear to be transported out to Morden you can do so anytime between 7am and 9pm Friday Aug 15 at Agri-Tel Transport. See Reg map for directions.
As more details are finalized we will post updates.
